History
Born as the son of a sailor and a burlesque dancer, Jas grew up with an intense interest in the ocean. He rarely got to see his father, and spent the predominance of his childhood backstage with his mother’s co-workers, often being dolled up by them. When he did get to spend time with his father, the man told tales of his adventures on the sea. At the age of 15, this persuaded Jas to attempt to join the maritime force, but he was rejected on multiple occasions, despite his obvious skill. He later discovered that it was due to his father’s ‘career’ that he was found unacceptable, and approached the man only to be burdened with the heavy truth that he was in fact a well-known privateer. Rejecting his father, he continued his quest to join the maritime force. After continuous refusal, at 18 the infuriated Jas finally marched out with an announcement that if they wouldn’t accept him, he was just going to have to make their lives harder. Thus began the reign of Jas Faukes, Corsair extraordinaire.
